Hey gang,
So I got what I am told is going to be the image published as the “Impulses” opener in the next issue of the Improper Bostonian. It is posted below. Photo is of David Hacin, a prominent Architect who has designed many buildings in Boston’s South End and who has just won an award for his design of FP3 in Fort Point ( location in Boston for all you out of towners), where the image was taken. I had to pull an all nighter to get the Polaroids scanned and through post production/FTP’ing to the magazine. Hope you dig it.

It was my plan, and in the best interest of my day, to not venture anywhere west of Arlington St. But, as it is, I found myself needing to cross that fateful line in the sand. I am now stuck due to the multitudes of pedestrians attempting to flee the vacinity of the Back Bay. For any of you out there that had planned on staying clear of the carnage and found yourself hopelessly pulled into the city my heart goes out to you.
Other than that there is nothing new to report on my end.
Wish me luck.
D out.
Many thanks to all of you that have been dropping by this blog and giving me feedback. I made some new pics for my scar project which is now titled “Cicatrix”. It means scar, but its latin and obscure and that makes me sounds Artspeaky and pompous enough to get by. The images are in the first post, which you can now just search for under the tags- “scar”, ” black and white” and “projects”
My bother has informed me that he can link this blog to my website name, which should make it easier to type in and search for in google, so, many props to Sean-e. I am still looking for subjects for the “Cicatrix” project so if you know anyone, especially someone who has been badly burned or had reconstructive surgery/plastic surgery ( breast implants, mastectomy, or some other removal of body part) please let me know, or let them know so we can talk.
Thats about all for now, I have to get back to the masses at NESOP’s digital lab.
Peace,
D
Got a call the other day from a Photo Editor at a local publication to make a portrait of a prominent Architect here in Boston. I decided to grab the polaroid camera and head down to one of his recent projects to scout out a good location for the shoot. I think this will be my new process for scouting and getting ideas..of course i am sure to run out of polaroid eventually, but there is always the digi.
Posted the shots below. Nothing special, but I am playing with the idea of using this blog to show others my process and kind of keep a day to day record of what I am up to.
More stuff to come including new scar photos and the images from the shoot on Tuesday,

I am currently making of images of people who have large scars due to trauma. I do have plenty to say on the subject but I am holding my tongue until I figure out how to get some images posted.
Stay tuned for the low down on this an other exciting developments.

Hello everyone!
As you can see I have finally been sucked into the creating a Blog. Please check back in soon to see and read about what I am up to.
